The Grad/YP community here at St. Paul’s provides opportunities for community, service, and prayer for graduate students and young professionals in Madison. There are many different ways to get involved, start by registering here and join our Facebook Group. In addition, feel free to email our Chaplain, Fr. Gabriel López-Betanzos, or our Grad/YP intern, Rosie Young, with any questions!
Mustard Seed
Mustard Seed is our weekly Grad/YP community event! It begins at 7:00pm in Saint Paul’s Library and is a great opportunity for fellowship and growth in the faith. There are speakers, great conversations, snacks, and lots of fun! Check out the events page to look at the calendar and see more details!
Bible Studies
The mission of St. Paul’s Grad/YP Bible Studies is to form small communities to lead one another in spiritual growth and life in the Church. To join a Grad/YP Bible Study, fill out this form. If you have questions, contact our Bible Study program facilitators, Denise Ludvik or James Langford.
Reading Groups
The mission of St. Paul’s Grad/YP reading groups is to support one another in applying the Catholic faith to our lives in the secular world. These small communities find inspiration for intellectual formation from a wide variety of topics. If you’d like to join a reading group, fill out this form. Retreats
We have a retreat once a semester for our community! This semester’s retreat will be from November 6 – 8, and registration will begin soon. Retreat team plans this event. If you have questions or would like to join our retreat team, contact our retreat team leader, Tyler Ballweg.
Service Team
We’ve been getting creative this year with service, but we’re always looking for more ideas and more help! If you have questions about service team, contact our service team leader, Olympia Mathiaparanam.
Brunch
Grad/YP brunch is every Sunday, after the 9:30am Mass (around 10:30am) on the balcony at St. Paul’s. A home-cooked brunch is served around 11:15am, and the cost is $3. Contact Rosie Young with any questions!
Hospitality Team
Our hospitality team assists with Mustard Seed, Sunday Brunch, and other miscellaneous events throughout the year. If you have questions about hospitality team, contact our hospitality team leader, Claire Blau.
