Freshman Small Groups
Freshman Small Groups are designed specifically to get freshmen “plugged in” to the faith community at Saint Paul’s. A small group consists of 8-10 freshmen in a co-ed setting with two sophomore leaders. You will find friendship, community, and support in your faith. We encourage all freshmen to join a small group – it’s the perfect place to start!
What to expect: Friendship & Community
- Weekly small group meeting
- Monthly large group meeting with all freshmen
- Social events – movie nights, tailgates, Badger sports, and more!
- Quality time with those who are learning to adjust to college just like you
What to expect: Prayer & Faith Support
We are not meant to live our faith alone. Freshman Small Groups are a place to learn about God and be encouraged to grow in your relationship with Him, alongside your fellow freshmen.

Root Beer Floats
Stop by Saint Paul’s during Welcome Week for a free root beer float! Meet a staff member, get registered, and get a tour of the building.
Freshman Pizza
Free pizza for dinner is served on Wednesday nights – just for freshmen to meet & get to know each other! Keep an eye on the schedule when the school year starts!
Freshman Getaway
Freshman Getaway is an annual retreat for freshmen to get off campus, enjoy the outdoors, and meet friends early on in the school year. Stay tuned for the dates coming up in Fall 2026!
Sunday Mass
Join us for the most important event of the week – Sunday Mass! We offer 4 Mass times each Sunday and there is always someone to chat with after Mass.
